Davide Pasca

Co-founder & CTO / Lead software engineer

Davide Pasca

Davide is a software engineer with more than 30 years of experience spanning AI, developer tools, real-time graphics, games, simulation, image processing, and algorithmic trading.

Before co-founding NEWTYPE in 2010, he held senior engineering roles at Square Enix and Arika, and earlier worked at SquareSoft. He remains a hands-on engineer and currently focuses on AI-native products and tools.

  • Led next-generation 3D and GPGPU engine R&D at Square Enix.
  • Credits include Final Fantasy VIII for PC, Tetris: The Grand Master Ace, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and Battle Arena Toshinden.
  • Current work includes Little Control Room, AskMei.ai, ENZO, simulation R&D, and independent games.

Junfang Zhang

Enterprise systems & SAP specialist

Junfang Zhang

Junfang has more than a decade of SAP consulting and implementation experience, including work with Accenture and GEA Group.

Her expertise includes SAP PS configuration, ABAP, training, data migration, and integration with SD, MM, FI, CO, and third-party systems across complex international organizations.

  • Industry experience in mechanical engineering, mobile communications, and natural gas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics from North China University of Science and Technology.
  • Works across Chinese, English, Japanese, and Italian.

Co-founder / Publishing & cultural advisor

Edoardo Serino

Edoardo is a publishing professional and Japanese–Italian translator working with Planet Manga at Panini.

His experience in manga publishing and cultural mediation gives NEWTYPE a practical connection between Japan and Italy's creative industries.

  • Extensive translation credits across Japanese comics publishing.
  • Public credits include Italian editions of Akira and Attack on Titan.
  • Brings long experience in publishing, events, and creator relations.
